Bill Ware is a quiet giant of the vibraphone who defines the word groove while impressing audiences with his masterful technique and stunning musicality. Mr. Ware has performed, recorded and toured internationally with hundreds of artists, most notably as a charter member of the internationally renowned Jazz Passengers, with guest appearances by Blondie star Deborah Harry, guitarist Marc Ribot and vocalist Elvis Costello. In the 1990s, Mr. Ware broke open the New York City “acid jazz” scene with Groove Collective, and he toured with Steely Dan in the 1993-1995 Alive in America concert tours. Dozens of other projects, and an expansive catalogue of compositions for jazz, classical, film and other projects can be found on his website at www.billwarevibes.com
